What we do to a Land Cruiser 200
A 200 series on a long trip is close to its weight limit before the trailer is attached. Standard damping fades under sustained corrugation, and that fade is what makes the last hour of a long dirt road exhausting. King Shocks with remote reservoirs hold their damping because they hold their oil temperature.
- ▸Remote reservoir shocks front and rear
- ▸Spring rates set for permanent touring load
- ▸Valving for sustained high speed dirt
- ▸Rebuildable and revalvable as the build changes
We import and distribute them ourselves
Direct importer pricing
We import and distribute King Shocks in South Africa ourselves, so you buy at importer pricing instead of paying a reseller margin on top.
Stock and support locally
Valving changes, rebuilds and warranty support happen here, not on a three month round trip to the United States.
Set up, not just bolted on
A shock is only as good as its setup. We spec valving and ride height around your vehicle, your load and your terrain, then fit it in our own workshop.
From enquiry to road tested
Tell us how you drive
Touring, overlanding, farm work, racing or daily driving. Load, tyre size, and what the vehicle already carries.
We spec the set
Coilover or remote reservoir, spring rate and valving chosen for that answer, not off a shelf.
Fitment and setup
Fitted at one of our four branches, ride height set, corner balanced and road tested before you take it.
Rebuild and revalve
When the terrain or the load changes, the same set gets re-tuned rather than replaced.
Four branches
Silverlakes, Brits, Potchefstroom and Bloemfontein. Fitted and set up by our own people.
